16.0.2 and the Universal Control 1.52... What's New...

does this Univeral Control 1.52 do anything new for the 16.0.2 ?
or is it all about the 16.4.2 ??

if I am not mistaken it did 2 things. Lion support and give the capability to link to the pending iPAD app.

As always I was hoping for more like:

GEQ on the AUX's
more flexibility on the FX's on AUX's "the all or nothing dilema"
and the 3rd I won't mention as I've said it many times before.. Hint.. SUBS.

Main out recording over firewire has been implemented!
You can find it on the Universal Control utility setup page.

Main out record over FireWire for all studiolives including 16.0.2??

So does this give you the capability to record the effects?

(I only have the 16.0.2, I think routing the main out back to the computer was already working for the bigger ones)

You have 2 routing options for the input 15/16:

normal analogue inputs 15/16- or
main out back to computer via Firewire to input 15/16

Nothing changed for the fx routing as far as I know...

Do you have any studiolive console yet? Or are you still trying to figure out which one to get?

Honestly, what concern is it of yours what feature requests he makes for the 16.0.2? Sometimes it's just not feasible to drop that extra few hundred. Not everyone is a professional and some of us have other things that determine our budget for these types of things, so if he requests a feature that is feasible for the smaller unit...how does it affect you?

I love the size of the 16.0.2
I would love a 'fix' for the all or nothing to the AUX's
I would love to use 2 of my AUX faders as SUB faders
I would love GEQ on an AUX

The GEQ on the AUX was made available for the larger ones correct? This seems like a software issue. And I agree that having two subs on the board is not too much to ask if possible.

IF Presonus could add subs and fix the all or nothing
and add GEQ to aux
this 16.0.2 would be the absolute BEST. Hands down.

I was taking a look at the block diagram for the 16.0.2. I am in no way speaking for Presonus here but I do not see how they could change an Aux to a Sub. the routing for the bus are physicaly wrong for that to happen. I agree this would be a nice feature for the system I just dont think it would be possible without some system board changes or the addition of an aditional Bus for the sub its just not what the mixer was designed for.

and Fx fix for Aux's
