Regarding the "on-track" quantize setting option, I'm using that for quantizing a few bars of guitar to match the grid and it's working better for me than any other quantize option, i.e. it's holding the groove, but falling better on beat and without distorting the sound.

Anybody know how the "on track" algorhythm function bases its quanitization? is it according to similar transient patterns elsewhere on the track?

On-track quantizes event starts. So it mostly only works if you have the part split into events that are based on the groove. It used to be called Qunatize Event Starts in 1.x It doesn't use AudioBend as far as I know.

Hi, friends! Tell me please is there an option to clean project folder from unnecessary files? Can`t find it...

If by the project folder you actually mean the song folder, then yes there is a way to do this. In the files tab right click up by the headers and one of the menu choices will be something close to remove unused files.

Dan

EDIT: Sorry - that should read the "pool" tab not the "files" tab.

Nope! It doesn`t work properly! See - we have some instrument, then freeze it. WAV file will appeared in Studio One\Songs\New Song\Bounces. It`s ok! But when you go to Pool menu in Browser and proceed Remove Unused Files - it will disappear from Pool, but it still in Bounces folder on my hard drive. Imagine, what size will be project folder in large project?.. Understand? I still hope there is an option for cleaning hdd. SOMEBODY KNOW?

The best way to do this is to use the "Save to a new folder" option. With this, you save to the new folder, it will ask to remove unused file, you say yes and then you go back and delete the original folder and move the new folder in its place.

It only takes a few steps and you know "For Sure" the unwanted files are gone. A lot safer then Cubase's file cleaner where you run the risk of anything not linked to a Cubase file gets deleted.
