@ rob, we've set the dial at back to 0db from our first use, even played with it after noticing that the output levels went down.. the meters even reached the "yellow zone" but there was no luck. tried many things but what remains is to have sit side by side with another SL to prove that the levels went down. AND return it to the seller...
PROB#1:
After 2 weeks our SL24 volume on the main outs dropped 6-10 dBs...
what seem to be the problem??
up to this point our band aid solution was to boost the main ins on the DR260...
PROB#2
2 units of At2020 large diaphragm condensers dies after 2secs on this board but it works well on an old sr24 mackie mixer or lexicon interface. on the other hand our shure pg 81 condensers work well in the SL
I believe its the SL 24's power supply fault.
please help me troubleshoot..
if this comes out hope it still can be controlled via VSL (as far as i know 2 SL24 link together cant' use a computer/VSL)
10aux is enough for me...but 4 subgroups is not.

My preference on a mixer that big would be to have master section in the center.
Just a thought.
in d center? could be.. but then we'll have to separate the other half of d dynamics (fat channel) into d other syd of the console..
shorter reach is what you like (me too)..but i think presonus will have the 32 still in a foot print smaller or narrower lets say compared to a mackie onyx 32.8...
MikeRivers wrote:Why so chintzy with the meter bridge? How about a meter for every channel and the 8 subgroups (OK, you can switch those to Aux outputs if you want). Leave the fat channel meters for the fat channel.
That IS a "bridge" isn't it? With the meters vertical?
chintzy? yeah your right, nothing to do last night, just played with Photoshop and SL a bit.
wishing a 32 channel will really be available SOON.
