I use a Ashly Protea 3.6 , works great and easy to understand. I also use a Ashly KLR3200 amp on my LA 400s, solid as a rock..
Oh and Ashly is made in the good old USA... Great gear...
I run my board and all of my rack gear on the UPS. I feal that the processor and the board are the most important part of the system. And yea I can lose power for 5 or so minutes and still be ok.
us sound guys are getting some bad rap, why not make it electrifying..... Who knows it might be the next big thing And hay we can leave the lights at home......what a show........
Ya know, I'm about to talk myself in to this ..... every time he holds the mic by the grille I can give him a jolt, and ya know I've got 48V handy
Well I just need to be ready for what may come my way. The 24 is 26 tracks and the FStube is 16 I think so thats 42. I have done this but it uses all 8 gigs of ram, the ole mac was working that day....
What I have been working on is just taking my FStube, FSproject, and the FSmobile out to record with software only. That is using S1 for the guitar FX, vocal FX and so on. But the guys would need to be able to hear themselves as it would be recorded with no extra stuff in their ears. So full band for that would be about 16 to 18 tracks.
When two units are linked zl will not work. So that's out. Guess ill just use one at the time. To bad, with three linked there is enough outs for the hole band to have there own mix. They could just jam and record everything.
