**Use Case (I think its common):

Yes, the song location is not part of a template.
But you can change the default location for new songs & projects under "Options" - "Locations" - "User Data"
The license file that you download contains keys for all computers that you have activated before.
So after you have activated the backup machine, put the license file on the main machine.
Then no further steps should be required when cloning.
