You don't have to use the build in installer. You can download it from your user account using a webbrowser and then bring it over to your other machine.

Demo versions that have expired are not shown in your account anymore. These links work for many people, so I am not sure what to do, other then giving the advice to download with a different browser or from a different computer.

Try the links from this page: http://studioone.presonus.com/demo-request/

I just download them with Chrome, so no problem in general.

Studio One installs the Soundsets in a folder, which is located in your Documents folder under Studio One. You simply drop the downloaded files into this folder and the next time Studio One starts up, it will pick them up. You can download the missing soundsets from your user account under My Software.

Enjoy

Ok, now I see. The software package is the same. The license file decides what features can be used. You need to activate Studio One again, which updates the license file.

To upgrade the Artist version do this:
1) Log into your Presonus user account
2) Goto My Software
3) Find the Artist versiun and look for the link "Upgrade"
4) Click on that and enter the upgrade key that you received.
5) You should now have version 2 Professional in your My Software listing.

Just to narrow it down. Do you have the Audition Notes option checked ? If so, the instrument is involved on each move.

Do you get crash dumps when this happens ? That would be very useful for us. You can attach them to this thread.

Also, was Du beschreibst ist ein Sonderfall.

There was a problem with the download of the Instruments Vol1 Soundset. Please delete that and redownload it with the installer.

This was a problem on the download server which has been fixed by now. Just delete Vol1 and download again to get the right one.

Yes, REX files are imported as audiopart with slices since 2.0.

Could you help me understand the problem a little better ? Which of these operations do not work:

1) Recording: Are the MIDI events placed incorrectly after record ? Any latencies should be compensated.
2) Monitoring: Are the MIDI events that pass thru delayed ? It is assumed that MIDI events are passed thru as quickly as possible, so that the latency is not noticable.
Studio One General Discussion » Plugins wouldn't load v2 » Go to message
This is exactly what is happening. We create a placeholder plugin that holds the state, but it in the UI it behaves like a plugin and can be replaced or kept around.

The MIDI track is not affected by it in any way. You can easily set the track to output to a different instrument.
