Just did my first live show for NA Blues Festival in Tempe Arizona with the StudioLive 16.4.2. Outstanding! Great in every way! Here's a taste - http://dl.toofiles.com/vaaoje/audios/digitalblues.mp3

Open StudioOne and use the StudioLive 16 template. Arm the tracks and you're ready to record. It's that easy

As I was explaining in another forum, I tried enabling 17/18. No luck. Even doing the code audio I don't get anything

To give a better explanation, I always have to have channel 1 firewire input enabled to hear audio from my Mac

Did everything the manual said on page 75. Still no audio. In StudioOne the main is routed to 17/18 as well, yet will only go through channel 1. Need a fix ASAP!!!! Apologize in advance if it's my own fault

Sunday is my first gig with the StudioLive 16.4.2. It's a blues festival. My kick options are the Audix D6 or the AKG 112. When I pull the D6 out of the kick more it gives a really nice wood tone. But the 112 might give it an all around proper tone. And for toms go with the 604s?

When I bought the StudioLive 16.4.2 no one could give me an answer on this question. What hard clam case would you recommend for this board?

Parametric EQ can help to eliminate feedback on one specific channel instead of the whole out. Also it can help shape the tone of one channel

Yeah I never got a reply about having a bad StudioOne CD

Howdy!. Yeah you can run external GEQ's connected to all the outs on the board, but if you do that then that means an EQ for each of the subs you want to run independently, and an EQ for each aux send you're using. If you have 10 aux sends then you're going to need 10 EQs

Outstanding! This will make all the bands I run sound for stand out! Can the effects be routed to a sub?

So can StudioOne be used as a live effects processor in this manner?

*sigh* Yeah I got it. My install DVD was bad and so now that I watched the video (RTFM) I can mix it down. Thanks

Yeah I am doing a blues concert for five bands on Sunday. See how it goes

the 16 only has GEQ in the mains. The 24 has them in the mains, aux sends and subs. So depends if you're gonna use it for live performances. GEQ's are really handy
