Folks, I had the same problem trying to activate Studio One Pro 2. Even though it gave me the Unable to Connect To Server error. I logged back into my account and found that I now had the option to download the license file. If that's the case with you just activate V2 using the offline option. I tried about 4 times before I logged into my account -> My software to find the license file available to download. So my advise is to check your My software after you've logged in.

Yes, see my post above yours. It finally worked even though I still got the same Failed to connect to server message. I logged back into the server -> my software and then found it now gave me the option to download the license. Check my software and see if it did get activated and you have that option now. Then download the license file and us the activate offline option by dragging that downloaded license file to it.

Thanks Rodney! No problem, slow but it's working now! Glad to hear so many people are excited that they're hammering the servers!

Now I'm stuck at the final phase trying to register it online since it show 5 activations available.
It errors out with
Failed to connect to server.
Please check your internet connection and try again.

Upgraded to V2 Pro, and registered but every time I try to download V2 for OSX I get this error:

I'm hoping that is due to the server being pounded? Can anyone confirm this?

Update: Finally it's letting me download.

An excuse? Not sure why you say that. That's just how it is. Stores release items early all the time.

I don't know if they put in a call to stores. It doesn't stop the leak because the leak already happened before they knew about it. Nothing they can do to go back and change it. Nor am I saying that the stores wouldn't comply. Just that they can't really punish the stores for it without possibly hurting themselves.

So requesting they stop the sale of the software until release date is punishing the store! What planet do you live on? Let's assume that the official sale of the product is to take place on Nov 1, then you don't think it is reasonable for Presonus to have them stop their sales because the damage has already been done? You also imply Presonus would hurt themselves for fixing a mistake GC made? You my friend should seriously consider going into politics!
