We're looking for power users of PreSonus gear and various DAWs who would be interested in helping us test Beta versions of our software and hardware.
In order to be a good candidate for this type of testing, you must understand that you will be testing at your own risk. For example, if you are about to run sound at an important show and you're using a Beta driver, there is always potential that something could go wrong. We're looking for people who are willing to test new features while making sure the old ones still work as expected. We need testers who are not afraid to run into an issue here and there and will report issues that come up during Beta tests.
Of course any software, drivers, etc. that come from us will have been through a certain amount of testing before we give them to anyone else to test, but if by some chance something does happen to your PreSonus gear while Beta testing, we will take care of it for you.
On the flip side, it's always fun to have the latest thing before anyone else does and to get to try out new features before they are released. So if you are interested, log a support ticket in your account at http://my.presonus.com and tell us that you're interested in beta testing.
In the support ticket, provide the following information:
Name:
Phone: (required)
PreSonus Gear Owned: (make sure it's all registered so we don't have to ask you)
Computer Operating System(s):
DAW(s) Used:
And a couple sentences (or paragraphs) on why you'd make a good beta tester.
Just so you know, to be a participant in the beta, you'll be required to both pass a preliminary knowledge test and upon passing that you'll need to sign a Non-Disclosure agreement (also referred to as an NDA). After which you'll be permitted to enter it the beta program.
Beta tests for different products happen at different times, if you're selected, we'll contact you about tests before they begin to check on your availability for the test period. Thanks for taking interest in helping us continue to improve PreSonus gear for you and to introduce new gear that suits your musical needs.

Thank you for approving me. Make me something fun to test You see how much I'm on here (Presonus forums)? Could you possibly ask for a more dedicated tester?

Oh, you got approved? I didn't. I guess I just don't know enough to be helpful, or maybe I'd be too helpful.

I don't know if I like the idea of installing/uinstalling beta versions of software all the time. Will the testers use a seperate PC for this or do it on their production PCs? If the latter I think its a risky idea.
How do you un-install the public beta software? I don't want to upgrade the firmware in the mixer I'm currently using (doesn't belong to me) and so it looks like I need to use the "normal release" software to test this out.
I just had our church get a Studiolive 24.4.2 and would love to offer input on any new drivers/apps/etc. I would also LOVE to beta test the remote control for Android (phone & tablet) as all but 1 person on the team has an Android based phone.
