AARRRGGG! I can't believe I missed them!

I think I'll live though.

I hope there is another unintentional slip.

My first reply to this was supposed to be funny. You know, Glum from Gulliver's Travels from the Banana Splits TV show?

Oh well. Guess I came off more as a dick (like usual...lol)

knew going to sleep last night was a bad idea.

Did the videos leaked have any details on how multi-track midi editing works?

The only real mention was that the editor was detachable for both audio and midi, which is good news - I can put that onto a second screen and see a lot at once!

Is this for real? Is 2.0 really out? How can i see the videos? I had no clue they were even close to release.
i will buy it now Presonus gate keepers of the scared DAW.

I thought it would come out in like 2012 when the Myan calendar ends and I would use it for one song and than the earth explodes.

So it might be V2 PMC release. PreMayanCalender

OK I know it isn't official or anything, but it's fun to conjecture. I saw a couple of the Youtube vids before they were taken down, and one thing I find interesting is that the voice over seemed to refer to both "Studio One Professional" and "Studio One Producer" as separate SKUs, as well as "Artist".

It was clear that Melodyne Essentials was only bundled with the "higher" of the two versions.

With the current top-end version dubbed "Studio One Pro", which of the two V2 models will a "Studio One Pro" license map to? Are Presonus about to announce a higher-end product than "Pro"?

I could also be wrong. We'll find out soon!

I'm excited because V2 seems to have all my feature requests covered.

The way I understand it, there are now 3 versions. Pro, Producer and Artist. The details are up in the air but that much is for sure. 3 versions in total.

I would hope (speaking through my fairly empty wallet to a certain degree) that Pro remains at the same price point and Producer comes in half-way between Pro and Artist... guess we'll find out soon.

I'm intrigued to see the less glam new features (hopefully Effects on Events etc) but there's still the drum-roll 'revolutionary new feature' to come too...

Does that mean we're not getting Direct Note Access?

I'm curious if the highest level is for those who don't have Melodyne, so it includes it, then the next level will be slightly cheaper for those who already have Melodyne, and then Artist stays the same as before.

I'm sure there are more differences than that, but that would be a good way of doing it, IMO.
