That's my vote - I've tried twice now to d/l the Intruments Vol 2 (just to have some fun while I wait for the hard copy), as the d/l begins it shows a 1.4 gig file. First one "completed", I threw it on a thumb drive (without really looking) and popped it into my DAW. Fired up S1, got a "file not installed" error - then took a closer look and realized that I'd only gotten 500 meg or so.

Watch the startup screen (or check "messages" from.... uh, one of the menus...) and see if that's what happened.

FWIW - this morning, I'm not even connecting to the d/l pages, just wait and wait and wait.

The price of success, I suppose.......

SNS, what are the file sizes on those soundsets? We can check to be sure the whole thing was downloaded.

A different issue might be causing the 'failed to install' message, too. If you've got two locations listed for the same soundset file under Options/Locations/Soundsets, you may get this error. Check that menu and be sure the location, or a parent and child fodler aren't listed twice.
