I'm currently working with the S1 demo - barring a major ugliness raising it's head in the next few weeks, I feel a purchase coming on. Thought I'd throw a thought out here -

Some years back I was engineering in Pro Tools (forget which version), and they had a muting scheme that I thought was brilliant, as such:

You could assign any tracks to a mute group, name that group and then save it. You could then set up another group, including any tracks - even those assigned to the first group - name IT and save it. And so on and so on, setting up any number of groups with any (even otherwise grouped) tracks. These groups would then be accessible from a drop down - instant click between groups.

I found this invaluable in troubleshooting mixes - I could set up multiple, overlapping groups, assign them as "mutes", and then instantly switch between them finding overtones, "ghost" notes, bad reinforcements etc very quickly and easily. (Y'know - when that ringout from the low tom sounds like a bad bass note, but isn't - that sorta thing...)

I know you guys are busy, I'm certainly not jiggling your elbow here - just a thought for when you get time. S1 is so browser-based in the first place, seems like a natural fit - add a "Groups" tab in the browser.
