To people who think subliminal suggestion or repetition doesn't work, explain why, after not eating any for years, I suddenly, almost unconsciously, had an urge for Jolly Ranchers when stopping for gas today.
Watermelon flavor. Gosh they taste good. Damn you synthphonix.

I can agree on trashing of the first three, lets face it there are thousands of plug ins both free and commercial, same with internal samplers, again there are many on the market, and VSTinstruments, in fact the market is saturated with them, their are plenty of manufacturers who've got the VSTI market all sewn up we really are spoilt for choice.

I would like to agree on developing brand new DAW ideas but that surely isn't as easy as it is to type.
You are disqualifying a whole group of users that don't want to invest and additional fortune in 3rd party plugins or not as much. And the effects in S1 are very well done for DAW native effects. Just saying.
And do you use any of them? Would you miss them if they weren't there?
Just as an FYI, all my mixing and mastering is done with the Presonus effects. I only use a few 3rd party plugs for my instruments.
I have yet found a need to load my Waves plugins on my new laptop. That says something right there. I'll put a mix I've done with the S1 effects up against any mix anyone here, can come up with.

I gotta stop with the Jolly Rancher crap, its ticking some people off. I wonder if that's how the devs feel when they see the same FR over and over

Personally, reps telling us it won't be long now is starting to get old.

Well sit tight. It's gonna be old for a bit longer. I don't care if it takes till January. It better be tested and released with as few bug as possible. Otherwise I'll drive out there and start knocking some heads together and slapping some faces......... with 2x4s

Towards the end of October we should finally get an announcement, according to some leaking information and vague posts from a few Presonus guys.
I highly doubt the announcement for v2 will go beyond the 17th of this month. That's probably why that date is so important to Presonus, but then again what do I know!

I'd rather have a complete toolbox with everything included in S1 than have to buy all separate and non-integrated stuff.
It is very much more expensive to build a car from spare parts rather than buy a complete car. If I then want Nokian tires rather than the Michelin included ones it would still be a cheaper buy...
Why is the Komplete-suite so popular. Because it's everything in one single/integrated package and it has stuff that I may use only once, but its there without an extra cost!
My €0.02
EDIT: When do I use 'an' and not 'a'? I find it more difficult nowdays to put them right....
