Anyone have ideas? I have a Mac OS 10.9.3 with Studio One Free and M-Audio Fast Track Pro. I can see M-Audio Fast Track Pro in the window to turn on input for a new song, and I can see two input boxes to click. But I cannot get the boxes to turn on when I click. The output boxes do work, and I can turn those on. I cannot find a way to turn on the input boxes. Any ideas?
Hardware Controllers: JL Cooper CS-10 Control Surface, Yamaha EZ-EG, Dillion Les Paul style acoustic electric guitar with Roland GK-3 pickup and GI-20 converter.
The Rest: Guitars, Amps, Stompboxes, Mics, Outboard Gear, VST plugins...too much to list!
I ma not sure you read my message. I have recognition of the Fast Track Pro in Studio One Free, and two input boxes appear for use. But when I click the boxes nothing happens. This is not true for the output boxes. These work. I am trying to find out why the input boxes do not work.

What do you mean when you say when you click the boxes nothing happens. Need to know a bit more of what and how you are doing this. Maybe post a screenshot of the input screen?

When I try to set up the inputs for a new song, I get Fast Track Pro in the window and two boxes for the stereo tracks to click. When I click in the boxes, I get nothing. They do not turn blue. The tracks for output do turn blue and do work. I can play sound through to the speakers. Since I cannot get the input boxes to turn blue, I cannot also get the record enable button to turn red.
