I know that it's not really necessary, but for saving processing resources I'd like to be able to do this. Is it even possible in S1?

I should mention that this is for a vocoder track with the audio track being the carrier and vocoder on the instrument track. Is there a way to merge these together for rendering?

Not exactly rendering but there is a workaround.. sort of....
You can send both tracks to a Bus and then record that bus to a new STEREO Audio Track using the Bus as the input rather than an external Audio device.

That will give an audio track of the combination of the audio and instrument!

You can then remove or mute/disable the original audio/instruments/tracks
If you need to redo the process and do more mixing just delete the audio from that new track. Reenable do the remixing activities and repeat the process.

See if that helps..

Or you can solo both track, go to song/export, select import to track, and just mixdown the tracks if you want to keep it mono.

Thanks a ton guys. I figured it was something simple and right in front of me. This is another topic that could possibly be in the Manual topic in General Discussion. Both these techniques work great.
