Hi all

Is there a way to increase the delay of a midi track by more than 100 ms in studio one 2?

Best regards

What do you mean?
Delay... as in sound?
Delay... as in starting position?
Delay... as in ???

Also more info about your HW, SW and their versions will be helpful for those you want help from.

Hi Scottyo

What i am referring to is "Track delay time" in the "track inspector". When i am using my expert sleepers kit for jitter free midi sync the automatic delay compensation fails when a Virus TI is also present in my project. Its all quite technical but my question really is this:

The track delay time only goes to +/- 100 ms on an instrument track. What I am looking for is larger values if this possible.

(I am using studio one 2.61. Windows machine, but i would not imagine that my specs matter since the question solely relates to a function in the track inspector. I might be wrong though )

Mads,

I get what you're saying.
I've never hit the +/- 100ms limit via the inspector (nor did I know there was one) as I've only gone up to +/-40 or 50ms.

The only other thing I can suggest is to export your midi track (right-click on track and find the option) then bring it back in to another track and place it further out than 100ms where you need it to be. I've exported midi drum tracks and the file goes into my S1P Songs folder.

Your spec's may matter but that will have to be for someone with more info than me... sorry.
