Thank you, Mathew. Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Although, I just listened to it and realized I messed up the mix a bit. Some levels too loud and drowning out other parts. Will have to fix and repost a better version.

Edit - (A few hours later...new version posted above.)

With lyrics such as you use, it would seem that the technical nature of the mix is not relative. This is a protest song. The more raw and undone the better IMO. There is pain and anger here. Make the mix reflect those emotions too.

Thanks for listening and commenting Bbd. Did you hear the first mix? Do you feel this one isn't raw enough or not reflecting the emotions properly? I listened to both again and the first one does have more energy...

I was going for a "falling apart at the seams" mix.

I only heard the first mix. I think it can have even more edge. Think square waves - not sine waves. The hard part is making a loud mix without too much taming of the peaks.

Ok. I thought I overdid it on the first mix, but maybe not. I'll try again and repost on the new forum. Thanks for the helpful notes.

Please explain. Seriously. If there is a way to make the song better I'm not seeing, let me know. Thanks.
