Audiobox usb distortion with pc

okay, im having a few issues, i have windows 7 on my i5 laptop. i use presonus one and i have the presonus audiobox usb. when import a music file or even create a beat its distorted and sounds like the bass is not there. i have tried a power saving option, reinstalling drivers. swapping from a usb 3.2-2.0 and back and forth. im lost and because of so i cannot record. please help me.

If you have not already done so please register your Audiobox and Studio One software and open a tech support ticket. That being said we cannot help you without a bit more info......if you will post your full system specs (see my sig), we will be better able to trouble shoot your problems. Without knowing what type of pc you're running....we can't recommend a "simple fix".
