Hi all,
This is my first post in the category, so bare with me please.
I have 5 instrumentals that I have put together and posted on Nimbit that I'd like some feed back on. I am an amateur and looking to improve my technique and skills. The backing tracks were put together by me using royalty free loops that I have purchased and the guitar parts were played by me. And the mixing and mastering was done by myself as well. What I'm after as far as feedback goes is as follows:

1. Is the music any good? (I know this can be a personal thing related to your taste, so go from there...) or should I hang it up now?
2. In what ways do you think I could improve upon it?
3. Well, any advice that you feel would help me to improve and make things better overall.

The songs are free to download, and if you like them and want to share them, then please feel free to do so and share the link if you like.

All songs were created in Studio One Pro 2, my guitars (Epiphone Les Paul and DOT Studio) and my Digitech RP500 were the only pieces of external equipment used (oh and and Ebow is used on one song).
Here's the link: http://www.nimbitmusic.com/teking/#astimegoesby

Hope everyone enjoys, and I look forward to your feedback.

I love Electronica and I'd say your on the right path so don't hang it up... however.
I admit I'm not going to listen to all of the 5 songs, that's just asking a lot to have someone spend 1/2 hour to do that.

1. I'd give more spatiality to your backing tracks and add a few more movements (breaks, chorus, change-up, etc).
2. As they are now, it's just you jamming to backing tracks... some of which are spacey good.
3. I'd give more variety to your guitar sound... it sounds the same (same reverb) on all five songs.
4. Listen to Craig Chaquico... he uses the same guitar sound a lot but he mixes up the dynamic and song way more.
5. You also have a few mis-hit/out of tune notes in songs 1 and 5 within the first 30 seconds. I'd go over them again and fix with Melodyne, Antares, etc. or re-track them.

Thanks for the feedback scottyo7, it will be taken to heart. I'm still trying to get me head around Melodyne, but I'm starting to figure out that is some pretty cool stuff there.
