Thanks for the link !
Eventide products are different from the mainstream but are all classics!
Why did I sold my H3000 and Eclipse when I was broke ten years ago ?
Cos I had a family and 3 children to feed

So, you have to get an I-lock account to get this deal, right? Just a nice, juicy piece of bait to get us tethered to the i-lock, eventually.
As tempting as this is I'm staying away from the i-lock concept. Thanks for posting the link, though. It is really tempting!

You ONLY need an iLok account & the management software.. You don't need an actual iLok hardware dongle.
It is just for the authentication/registration process..
They obviously use that rather than setting up their own..

You don't need a physical iLok dongle but you do need to download and install
the software iLok manager.....no big deal.....and this plugin is WELL worth it.
I've tried it on a variety of sources and it sounds GREAT!!

O.K. You guys talked me into it. I've seen MANY of your helpful and informative posts on many threads. So if you guys say this plug is worth having, I certainly believe you. I've just become weary of installing extra software on my computer....I'm fighting the fight against bloatware and other things, especially some freebies that won't uninstall unless you enlist the help of a computer expert. Know what I mean?
But it sounds like Eventide is a legit, respectable outfit. So now I just can't resist. Thanks for the info!

Have you guys noticed anything strange with this plugin? Couple of times i've loaded it on channel and noticed that i don't get any input signal to the plugin. Pretty weird.
Anyway, i love Eventide and have also Eventide Eclipse on my rack

I hear what you're saying.......I've had to force myself to limit the number of plugins I use.....sometimes too many choices
is not a good thing. This puppy is definitely worth having tho IMHO.

That is strange.....but it's not happened here. So far it's behaving quite nicely.

Quite a cpu-consumer on x64. And it does not sound better than the fat-channel, when you use it for normal Channel-strip purposes. But it has way more possibilities than that. So it will for sue have it's place, once I get a stronger computer

I quite agree. Like Eventide hardware, I find that this plug excels at time/modulation/pitch effects......very nice for backing
vocals and some instrument tracks.......and the price was certainly right!!

Hi all,
So I downloaded and installed the Ultra Channel per instructions and to Ultra Channel's default folders (Avid, Steinburg, Sonic Shared) but my Studio One Producer cannot find it.
Any guidance from those here?
Thanks

Me too! The i-Lock download wasn't small, either. But I did register, retrieve the e-mail link, and activated ultra-channel. But I don't know how to get S1 Producer to see it. Also, I'm having a hard time getting S1 to recognize most of the free VST's I picked up before discovering Studio One. I can do without them, but I'd sure like to get these working if I can.
Maybe somebody will steer us to a good resource on getting VST's to work, or explain why some WON'T work. But in any event, good luck everyone.
