WTF -- I have a wireless network using a brand new Apple Air Port Time Capsule router that my entire house is wired into (phones. pads, TV, printer, speakers etc...) - and this machine clearly sees it but will not join it. What gives?

ok it connected to the network at the gig tonight. I will try again tomorrow here at home - the only thing different was the network - which was the bar's network/password.

http://support.presonus.com/entries/22338264-Are-there-any-specific-routers-that-are-not-approved-to-work-with-the-StudioLive-AI-mixers-

1. Apple Airport Express and Extreme routers (Gen 1 through Gen 5)- In our testing the Airport routers were very problematic to connect to and to keep devices connected to. Some customers have reported no issues, but others have had no success with them at all. If you can make it work and you’re ok with it, then please use it. We will not be able to troubleshoot these with you. We recommend that you use another router to avoid potential future problems. Note Added 11/12/13. You must have the latest firmware on your Airport Extreme and that no other Airport routers are running. For more on this see this forum thread in our community area: http://forumsarchive.presonus.com/posts/list/40836.page#271553

NOTE: The 6th Generation Airport Extreme has worked very well in our tests with AI mixers.

I think I have the latest gen Airport extreme since it is only a few months old (6 or so). I pretty much will never use this at home at all - I just wanted to test it out and set permissions. No big deal - it worked fine at the gig and setting permissions is easy enough -- but -- if I did need it to work and it didn't I would be rightly pissed.

For gigs and more permanent setups, it sounds like most people wire a router directly to the board and eliminate one wifi connection if possible. I've never had problems with my wifi stick, but others have.

I'm on an Airport Extreme (have been for years) and it works fine. Let us know if you still have issues and we'll walk you through it.

A friendly suggestion from one who has to keep a watch on my attitude at times... keep calm and you'll get there. When I get pissed (rightly or not) I don't think very creatively or troubleshoot nearly as well. I have every confidence you'll get it working like you want it!
