Trying to get Radium Midi Keyboard to play nice with AudioBox 44VSL and GarageBand

Hello, I've had a Radium midi keyboard for years that I've been able to use with GarageBand by going Keyboard (via usb) to Belkin usb/firewire hub, to my MacBook Pro via usb. For some reason I was not able to get GarageBand to recognize the Radium without the hub, so I continued using it.

I recently purchased the AudioBox 44VSL and I'm now able to go guitars/mics into GarageBand easily, but I have not found a way to get the Radium keyboard recognized by GarageBand. I'm pretty inexperienced with audio recording setups like this, so any guidance would be appreciated.
