1818VSL Suddenly stopped splitting channels… no input control. Am I crazy?

Ok let me start out by saying I'm a bass player, not an audio engineer

We're currently using our 1818VSL to split Superior Drummer and a prerecorded dry guitar track to a couple of different mixers, then to a PA and a reamp box to a guitar rig, act, respectively to write. Last week all was well, we tested our idea as proof of concept and everything worked… hooray. Came back last night to find that somehow the Audiobox had sort of lost it's mind, or I'm retarded… let me try to explain: running Logic it doesn't appear to be assigning the different tracks to individual channels anymore. Only outputs 1 and 2 work, sending a stereo mix. None of the input volume controls have any effect on the mix, and the master volume has no effect. The Main outputs work, again none of the input controls do anything, and the master volume works but again, only on the Main Outputs. The 1818VSL software only shows that the DAW is sending signal, not the individual channels (everything worked fine last week and I have to admit I didn't look to see what it looked like running it this way, we were only testing it to see if we could get everything to work and the software just ran in the background). We thought that the vocalist's laptop was jammed up with porn and various music instructional videos and audio files, so I took it home and plugged it into my squeaky clean iMac and the exact same thing is happening. What… the…. EF????

My set up is Lion 10.7.5 with Logic 9.1.8, Audiobox running USB 2.0…

Is there something I'm missing here? I've gone through everything, and everything seems to be where I left it and fine as far as my novice to moderate competent knowledge extends…. is there a setting on this thing that I'm missing? If it had just been the laptop then I wouldn't be too worried but with it being on my computer as well I am feeling really confused. Did we break this thing somehow? DID YOU SEE WHAT GOD DID TO US, MAAAANNN???? Seriously… Help! Thanks in advance!

Nothing? Someone has to have some kind of an idea of at least where to start...
