Two features I would like to see:
- Tap Tempo available on Song Creation page
When I'm creating a new song from scratch, it would be nice to be able to use Tap Tempo to at least get close as you're setting up the new song.
- Export Stems clipping notification
When exporting stems, it does tell me that the export has clipped, but it'd be nice to know WHAT FILE has clipped. When you export multiple files, the only option is deleting everything. But if I knew which file was the problem child, it would be easier to fix for the next export, rather than just guessing by looking at waveforms.
Thanks!

It already does...
I should probably mention that you need to let the stem export - finish - before you get those details. You'd want to do that anyway because the files that didn't clip will be ok.
The only issue I have with that notification is that it's modal, you have to close it to continue working in S1, when (imo) it would be better as a non-modal window so you could keep those details open and in view while you correct those tracks for the next render, instead of trying to remember those details.

That was indeed the thread, it had a lot of positive comments from forum members and lots of creative ideas were added to enhance the feature. Maybe it'll surface in version 3?

Knowing where the clip occurred is a great way to go back and fix it.
I've never fully grasped the logic of that, mmv. So a track you're about to stem clips at X time and Y time and Z time and somehow the DAW marks all of those time locations where it clipped. Ok. You'd go to those three or four locations and trim them all, and change the relative balance of the track in those 3/4 places, a track that may have automation or similar on it for the express purpose of putting the relative levels where they are? As opposed to simply trimming the entire track X db so it won't clip anywhere in the export?
It really sounds more like a novelty feature to me, mmv as usual, but I it anyway because it's harmless.

Export Stems - many have complained about that exact thing. Here's to hoping that gets improved.
I'm still not clear on this mouse tap on tempo in transport. Can anyone explain? Trying to set the tempo of a new track with the tempo of an exsisting track with a manual mouse tap. Is this doable?
