I know how to monitor playback (Studio One v2) through my external Saffire unit, but I can't seem to hear any playback when the hardware unit is disengaged. It would be nice to edit on my laptop without having everything plugged in. So far I've tried to change the settings under 'Song' and 'Song Setup', but with no luck. I've also checked my laptop sound settings and it is set to my internal speakers (2012 Macbook, OSX Mavericks). When the file is playing, the bar graphs are moving and visually responding, but there is just nothing coming through the internal speakers or headphones. Thanks in advance!

I thought I had already tried those options, but I just tried again and it worked! Thanks. Just for clarity in case anyone else has the same problem, here is the path taken: Song, Song Setup, Audio I/O setup, Outputs, Options, Audio Device, Built-in Output.
