I am using the free version of Studio One and noticed that I cannot export mixdowns. When I try it says "Nothing to export. Please set Loop or Markers first." How do I do that? Shouldn't it be where "Start" and "End" are since that is what I chose? Also, how do I get the "End" marker to somewhere closer than 45 minutes? I do not want to have to drag it all through the song which is the only possible way it seems to do it. Is it possible to export mixdowns at all in the free version?

you can set loop markers in the strip above the time line or set stop start points read the manual... or just do it... it aint brain surgery... just click on the bar you want it to start and the one to end... name it and select the file type and destination... there are a ton of how to videos but it is rather simple... it's telling you what to do!

I already did that very thing you were saying and it gave me the "Nothing to export. Please set Loop or Markers first". I tried another song and used the "Between Selected Markers" and it worked for that song. Still don't know what the problem is for the one song but at least it seems to be working now.

Make sure the marker track is opened (flag icon near top left of screen). Then you can select the markers, start end flags, etc.
