I never paid much attention to Studio One Free since I have the Pro version.
But recently I tried it out of curiosity and in my opinion it's quite cool what you can do with it.
Especially when you have external Sound modules that you can trigger via MIDI (so you won't need plug-ins for sound generation).
So here's a brief article I did for the ScopeRise web magazine that's primarily targeted at users of Sonic Core's Scope platform, but might be interesting for anyone else, too.
