When I have 2 FP studios daisy chained and connected to my mac, I am able to see both of them when I have UC open but only the 1st one gets the signal when DAW 1 - DAW 10 is selected as the input source on the channels. My question is should the second UC play back daws 1-10 when they are selected as the input source for each channel

You should have 20 inputs in your DAW with two properly daisy-chained FSP's.

I do have 20 inputs in my daw, so it is daisy chained correctly. My question is about universal control. Being that I have 2 units, they both pop up in the universal control application, but only one of the units, which is the master, gets playback from my daw. By this I'm talking about how each track in universal control can be switched to daws 1 - 10, allowing it to play back audio from my daws outputs. The standard pre set in universal control for a FP studio has tracks 1 - 10 as the units inputs, and tracks 11 - 18 as daws 1 - 8. In universal control with the first unit, any tracks with daws 1-8 selected, plays back the daws out puts that it is assigned to,but in universal control with the second unit, nothing is played back on any of the daw 1 - 8 tracks. Is this the way it should be, no daw play back via universal control for the second unit when 2 units are hooked up? I hope somebody understands. I call tech support and I can never get through. I send a ticket and they never answer my question, They just send me links to how to set up my unit.
