Hello everyone,
I have searched on the forum, but I actually did not find what I am looking for (looks more like a U2 song ). I own a Firestudio audio interface and I need to expand the outputs for more personal monitoring on live situations. Is the Presonus Digimax D8 a good solution?
What I want to do is to create personal mixes on the mixer of Universal Control an route each mix in an output of the Firestudio and of the D8 (via ADAT). Is this possibile or the ouputs of the D8 are ONLY direct outputs (I.E.: Input 1 -> Output 1; Input 2 -> Output 2 etc etc.).
Thanks in advice.

Correct.....as stated in the product lit:

Input/Output
2 unbalanced ¼” instrument inputs (front panel; bypass Ch. 1 and 2 mic inputs)
8 balanced rear-panel XMAX mic preamps
1 BNC word-clock input
8 balanced ¼” direct outputs (1 per channel)
1 ADAT Lightpipe optical digital output (8 channels)

Ok! Thanks a lot! To do what I need which device should I use? A Digimax FS? I have found a guy which is selling at the same price a Firestudio and a Digimax FS. I was actually thinking to grab the Firestudio and daisy chain it at my Firestudio...could this do the job? Or maybe I caould connect the two firestudios via ADAT in/out.
What do you guys think?

The Digi FS has the same direct outs.....I believe that daisy chaining two Firestudios would allow you to accomplish
what you're trying to do as their outputs are general purpose.
