I have tried this with 2 different iMacs and 2 different Macbook Pro's, running OS's from 10.8.5 to 10.9.3 and they are all giving me the exact some problems.
Basically, if I start up my computer and plug in the Audiobox, everything is fine. If I let the computer sleep, when I wake it back up the output is all messed up and distorted. It's super loud and it's like 80% white crackly noise and you can hear about 20% of the music in the background. Just sounds horrendous.
Same thing happens when the soundcard is plugged in before I start up the computer, it'll be distorted 'till I unplug it and plug it back in again.
Any idea what this is? It must be the soundcard as I've tried it on 4 different Mac's and it does the same with all of them!? I've even tried using the VSL drivers which say they are compatible with the Audiobox USB but that made absolutely no difference.
