Weird. Maybe it's something to do with a Free version limitation. My colored tracks persist after a save...

Impact isn't included in Studio One Free.

Well no??? It could be, because i dont own SO, but a friend does. Cause i now only work in/with maschine..(way much faster for me) I gave impact as an example But same thing for maschine outputs. Everytime when i come back and want to let him hear what i made with a track before, i couldnt remember or see the color sheme i gave in the mixer of SO... So you can see in one eye flash where the mashine group goes.. (yes you can render it out) but you always want to pt something in or out.)

I should ask him for a log in for technical support... (but would be little strange and dont know if that isnt against the rules)

I'm not really sure what you're doing here. If you're feeding Maschine outputs into Studio One could it be that the Maschine tracks are being recreated each time - in which case they would revert to the default colours as they are actually new tracks?

Yes, using somebody else's login for technical support is against the rules.

To be clear, I mean't I wasn't sure what he was doing with Maschine and S1 - not why he was using this forum.
