I just purchased a new AudioBox VSL 44 and can't arm tracks for recording a new song.
Yet when I pull up a song that I recorded before I had the AudioBox VSL, I can arm tracks and record.
The AudioBox also plays back previously recorded tracks as well as anything that I have in iTunes just fine too.
It's driving me nuts trying to figure out what might be set up differently between the new and old songs.
My DAW is Studio One Professional and my previous interface was a Line 6 UX2.
Anyone have any ideas about what I'm over looking?
Hardware Controllers: JL Cooper CS-10 Control Surface, Yamaha EZ-EG, Dillion Les Paul style acoustic electric guitar with Roland GK-3 pickup and GI-20 converter.
The Rest: Guitars, Amps, Stompboxes, Mics, Outboard Gear, VST plugins...too much to list!
Thanks, cristofe.
I did what was mentioned in that video.
I also loaded the newest drivers from the Presonus web site.
It completely puzzles me why I'm able to load a new audio track into a previously recorded song and arm it for recording.
Yet when I try and start a new song, I can't arm a track to record.
It's quite a mystery.
I'll try the Studio One section as you suggested.
