apologies

i would like to apologize if i was a bit of an ass today to anyone. i had another friend die today. i am at the age that many of those i have known are dropping like flies. i am really tired of losing the few friends i have. since finding out... i have been a tad disturbed and want to whip the world's ass. so if i have been somewhat of a prick please take it with a grain of salt. please don't take it personal...

Would have been a better day for mourning than posting, it seems.

On the bright side, you may see them again. No one seems able to prove it one or the other way.

thanks all and yes maybe i shouldn't have been posting but i was trying to occupy myself and stay distracted. and btw... this wasn't the only place i visited... just trying to cover the bases if i was snotty. there is always tomorrow. i hope we will all see each other again but i do know there is something other than this reality we cling to. it is just my ring of family is getting smaller but such is life. we all go through it...

thanks man... yea... i told a friend just a minute ago that i should take my own medicine... i tell people at our age we are going to see more and more of it. and what sucks is... it is never any good... but it gets harder to take later in life.

i can be an ass one minute but i always come back around and see that i was an ass and try to make ammends. manic-depression and attention deficit ain't very good bed fellows it seems

I really don't believe this place has gotten so bad that public apologies are necessary. :... I know that's not the case here in my experience

I'd also hate to think anyone here would hold a grudge but alas I'm naive about the Interwebs in general at least in normal everyday interaction. We all type things we don't realize may be gruff at times but it should be understood with no need to opine just move on to the next one.

I offer my sincere condolences and remember we all make mistakes and learn from them and I'd like to think this forum is mature enough to understand with no apologies necessary.

well CT i am not your average joe... most people would not apologize. not in this day and age. i do these things for me... noone else. not that the apology is meaningless... it is just that i do it to clear my conscience. it is something that i have to do to face myself. i am by no means the norm.

and thank you sir... and all the rest. i hope i did not bum anyone about the death.. just explaining. my father always said i wear my feelings on my sleeve and maybe he was right. but i am what i am and wish to be nothing more. and i am okay with that. cheers

Well, you're not alone. I do too. I've tried not to so much in recent years but I guess I'm just hardwired that way.

And matthewgorman is right always celebrate there memories, those of us left behind mourn because we do not know what else to do, for all we know there is a better place with this life just being the prelude.. Think about the good times!!!!
