Dunno again if this has been addressed...but if there isn't a way to make the transport stop from playing at the end of the song I'd like to request it. As it is the transport just keeps playing and playing into no man's land...

LOL I just pictured the playback cursor falling off the edge of the Earth.
But I totally agree with you, if the song end has been reached, it make sense to do something about it. How about adding the following mutually exclusive options to the Options dialog?:
( ) Play past the song end marker
( ) Stop playback when end marker reached
( ) Stop playback when end marker reached and return to start
(*) Return to start and continue playing (like in FL Studio)

It works on all markers EXCEPT the Start and End markers. You can insert a regular marker at or after the end point and right-click and it should give you the option.
