I have an older FIrestudio project which works fine on its own. I recently purchase a new one to daisy chain and get more inputs. When hook up together only one of them sync and the other one just flashes red and blue.

They both work separately but not together.
Computer has a PCI Express x1, Firewire, 2 Ports - PEX1394A2 Startech.
Windows 7 64 bit
I have installed the latest universal drivers and still not working.

They both need to have the same Firmware, and the unit with the lowest serial number needs to be directly hooked to the computer.

Both are up to date to the latest firmware well atleast thats what the universal controllers say when I plug them in separately.

I have also tried plugging the older one directly to the pc and then the newer chained and vice versa but only the one that gets connected directly to the pc gets sync other one blinks
