Studio One and One 2 not launching on Mac OSX 10.7.5

Have tried both One and One 2, with the Audiobox USB and with the internal sound card. Doesn't make any difference, every time it gets to hardware integration during the loading screen it crashes. I did get far enough to register studio one and try and install packets before the first crash but ever since, never past 'hardware integration'.

After reading the forums I tried doing the disk permissions repair thing but no luck.

This mac has a 2.7GHz Intel Core i5 does that make any difference?

I'd really like to see this hardware working with the software (it works fine for the mac's audio, I can play things in itunes etc). Otherwise, it's been a complete waste of money because getting Studio One working in this context was the primary objective.

You should be able to launch S1 without your audiobox connected. You can then register it, post in the S1 forums and open a tech support ticket.
