I have a SL 16.4.2 and 2 FSP units. I decided to unplug the SL unit and load up capture to see if it would work with my FSP units. It did! NOTE: I didn't look thru the forums to see if this was already done, but its cool that it did is all.

I think that is a Capture v2 thing. I borrowed a board for a show right after v2 came out, and still have capture on my system. Works like a charm.

I believe its because it uses the same driver as the 16.4.2 is why it is working with my FSP units.

Reading the Capture specs i don't think that a SL device is really needed, it's only for registering the software that you'll have to have one of their mixers.

On the Capture page Presonus states that Capture is:

Designed exclusively for StudioLiveā„¢-series mixers

They have also issued statements that it will NOT work with other devices. It's probably just a fluke
that it works with other Firestudio series devices. But this makes sense as they share numerous
similarities and can be daisy chained. I would be surprised if Capture recognizes the USB series
or even the older Firewire devices as they are not compatible with the SL series.
