FireStudio PROJECT won't open on my Mac and isn't Recognised in Ableton...

Alright!

I've just bought a new FireStudio PROJECT, Ableton Live 9 and I've installed it as per the instructions.

The blue light on the FSP is on and it's ready to go but it won't open on my Mac and isn't coming up as an audio device in Ableton. It comes up with a - quit unexpectedly on both the universal control and Studio.

Any suggestions anyone?

I'm totally new to this so any help would be most appreciated.
