AudioBox USB measurements with Room EQ Wizard?

I use an AudioBox USB to take measurements using Room EQ Wizard. I run a signal generator from REW to the outs of the AudioBox which then go to an amp and then to a speaker. I measure the results using a dbx RTA mic connected to the mic input of the AudioBox.

For this reason I do not want the output to be affected by the input as it would create a positive feedback loop.

My connections are:
AudioBox Output L to Amp/Speaker
mic to AudioBox Input #1

I have the AudioBox knobs set as follows:
48 V, ON
Input 1: 3:00
Input 2: Full CCW
Phones: Full CCW
Mixer: Full CW (Playback)
Main: 3:00

With these settings I wouldn't expect to hear anything from the speaker when I tap on the mic, but I do. I thought with the Mixer set to Playback I wouldn't hear the input signal at all through the speaker. Am I missing something? I windows somehow directing the AudioBox inputs to the outputs?

Anyone?
How do I prevent mic input from showing up at the output?

Ummm... room control and SMAART are a function of the Studio live series consoles... If you have a full version of SMAART you CAN use the Audiobox USB (I do) but I suspect that you are doing something else?

I don't have SMAART. I'm using Room EQ Wizard to run a frequency sweep. I think the problem I'm having is not so much a function of the program I'm using for measurement, but more a function of AudioBox operation.

I want to send the sweep output out of the AudioBox to an amp and eventually out the speaker. I then want to measure the speaker response with a mic tied to the Audiobox input. The problem I'm seeing is some of the sound picked up by the mic is also being sent to the Audiobox outputs even though the mix knob is all the way CW to Playback. I know this to be true because I can tap on the mic and hear "thump, thump, thump" coming out of the speaker. With the mix set completely to playback I don't expect to hear anything out of the speakers when I tap on the mic.

There *could* be something in the software that routes the mic input to the audio output. That would explain why this is happening. I'm just not sure where it is.
