Hi,

I have an AKG headphones which works great with Firestudio. If I plugs an ipod headphones into the 2,5 to 6,35 AKG adapter, the sound from the ipod headphones is really bad. It is low and like a MP3 with very high compression. Seems to have stereo.
The same headphones on my ipod is working normal.

Any idea ?

Of course it seems stupid to use crappy ipod earphones but first, on my ipod it is not crappy. The sound is very bad on the Firestudio, not normal. So maybe it's a ohm problem.

I think it's a good test for a mix to use ipod earphones because when music is good in that, it is super good in AKG. The reverse is not true.

Yes it is good to hear the mix on iPod headphones but do NOT plug them into your firestudio. Send the song to your iPod. The reason they sound crappy is because the Firestudoo outs are too strong.

I repeat, DO NOT USE IPOD HEADPHONES IN A FIRESTUDIO. THEY ARE NOT MADE FOR IT.

pretty simple. So stop doing that.
