I was looking for a laptop on ebay to run Capture. How critical is the 32 vs 64bit spec? Most of the Toshibas I see all run Win 7 which is 32bit. Any suggestions for a particular Win based laptop that will run the recording software would be appreciated. Doesnt have to be toshiba or new. I've been looking at this one below.

For Capture 32 or 64 bit is ok, just don't expect to do alot of real time operations with that old hardware.
Caution: It is very likely that the 1394 port will not work with any audio interface properly. So you will need to ensure you have a compatible 1394 pcmcia card for use with the mixer.
Alternatively you might consider picking an older Macbook to use a Controll/Recording Device. May be fewer headaches in the end.
