hello, i was just wondering why support is being dropped from 10.6.8 Snow Leopard? Our church has an older iMac that won't run 10.7, although the mac is supported for 10.7 when its installed it runs like a dog. under 10.6.8 everything runs great. we don't have the budget to purchase a newer (even used) iMac just to run 10.7. So basically when new features are included now in newer releases you're following the drum beat of standard corporate america? ie you want the new features buy new gear. i can understand dropping support for win xp & vista as developing for those platforms is probably a nightmare with so many different configurations in pc's. however with mac it's all cookie cutter and a much easier platform to develop for. i've never had any performance issues with uc in 10.6.8 so i don't understand why support for this os is being dropped.
It's all about limitations and Apples proclivity to change everything so that there is no option but to move on...So Sorry...
Best regards
