Because nobody understood the last thread, I try to explain it step by step, that you can understand it well:

If you edit Folder Parts with the editing possibilties like copying&pasting, duplicating, moving and deleting and there are Bus or Send FX Automation stacked on these Folder Parts or seperated inside folders, folder part editing steps are not working together with Bus and Send FX Automations! So you must edit your bus and send automations always seperated.

You can expect from folder part editing, that EVERYTHING, which is inside a folder, is edited with the folder part!

Furthermore: if you select automation, move it to another place and back, the appearance is completely different at the end depending on that what comes after it!

Confirmed.

The workaround (when you can't easily just do a marquee selection) is "Create Range on Tracks" and/or maybe convert that range to a physical selection with "Select Events in Range". Try those two commands and if they work better for you, stack them on a key and tap that key when you're about to do something like that to make sure everything is included in the move.

Hopefully in the future folder editing will include the entire vertical range when moving clips, even things on disconnected automation tracks. To maybe have the folder group button include everything in the folder by default.

Thanks Michael.

No clue where you got that idea from exactly. They don't listen to me any more than anyone else... maybe less.

Anyway, you're welcome.

why less?

it is more me, who the developers listen less because they dont like me.

so because this bug and the others are really annoying and I hope they fix it in the next update. because Im a friend of fast and seamlessly workflows.

Because the pure chance of two random choices is 50/50 and none of us have a direct Batphone to the developers.

Relax a little. To conclude that they "don't like you" kinda assumes that they actually think about you (or me or anyone else much) at all.

I can confirm that this behavior exists.

It's not a big issue with me as I don't move Automation, it's usually the last thing I do prior to mixdown.(even with instrument and in folders).

We all use the software in different ways so a bug for some is negligible to others not using it the same way, this could be intended but I couldn't say,it copies the events and moves them within the region selected .

As far as the developers are concerned I doubt there is any personal agenda against any forum users regardless of their posts, why would they when they spend more time focused on the product and not on this forum.

We confirmed this issue several times before.
Michael knows that. But he cant remember his own requests and messages after one week.

He wrote that (and many other suggestions) in lot of other threads ever and ever again.

Thank you too for your confirmation!

It is a pleasure for me to help improving Studio One!

But also important is the fixing of the "In Between Automation Point" bug here that the whole diting process is working fine and that we dont need to edit all the wrong copied Automation after it again!

All the other issues too?

Why you write only below this suggestion, that I reported it before and not below the others?

Because you only want to talk bad about me. All the good ideas you ignore!
