Just wondering..... Would sure like to see some interface enhancements, e.g. Ability to label channels, easier way to adjust sliders for channel sends, or at least a way to see the current values w/o changing them. There are several others, but those I would really like to see.

Anyway, just wonder if there is anything on the horizon to update this software?

thanks

Your guess is as good as mine as to what the future holds. I do like both of your ideas, though -- both arequite useful suggestions, in my estimation.

yes....while it does work,(for me anyway), it does not fully resolve all of the 1818's issues. This is why it was
only posted on the 22VSL & 44VSL pages. It is an interim release meant for those units. HOWEVER for all
those of you claiming that Presonus has abandoned the VSL series this release clearly shows that drivers
are, in fact, still being developed.....as has been said all along. Presonus has been and will continue
development for this series:

From the bottom of the above referenced post:

Known Issues

* AudioBox 1818VSL:

There remains an incompatibility issue for the AudioBox 1818VSL running with Intel USB 3.0 chipset for both late model Mac computers as well as PCs running the Intel USB 3.0 Chipset with 3rd Generation Ivy Bridge series processors and PCs running 4th Generation Haswell processors.

Our Engineering Team is actively engaged in fixing this issue and we expect to have an update available for both Mac and PC platforms in the coming months. We will be delivering frequent updates on the status in our community forum page here: http://forumsarchive.presonus.com/posts/list/0/45870.page

The post in my quote shows that the new 1818 driver is in the midst of internal QA testing. Not sure why you folks think they're not doing anything...

I use AudioBox 1818VSL on my laptop, and the controller window does not fit my screen and there is no way to re-size horizontally, so much so, I cannot click the channel link option!
There has to be option to re-size or maybe option to hide FAT channel options to shrink ect.
Also, vertical resize does not always work. I have to click and drag several times to re-size vertically.
Minor issues, but annoying.

Yes, unfortunately, other than increasing resolution there's not much you can do. IMHO the VSL GUI has room for improvement in
several areas.....like being able to name channels would be nice.

On the demo AB1818 in the Ipad-app you can rename channels (connect to Demo AB1818 > Settings > press hvite fields with channel names). I guess this feature was meant to be there all the time, should be an easy fix
