MULTICHANNEL PROJECT

Hello,

I need to make a project in six channels in HD (24bits / 96KHz sur les six voies codage DTS master audio)
1 - what audio box do I need to use with Studio One ?
2 - What plugin in Studio One do I need to export it to the client ?
(encoding to Dolby Digital or DTS)

I'm new to S1, but the impression I get is that it is focused on stereo, not multi-channel.

That said, I don't think it would be too difficult if you have a 6 channel interface to set up sends for the various channels and mix it that way.

As far as encoding, I've used http://aepatrakov.narod.ru/index/0-2 once and it did the job. Not great, but functional. You have to feed it a 6 channel wav file and it is a Linux tool, so it may not be a workable solution for most. But, it is an option.

I am on mac platform, and I am not sure that dcaenc will work there.
May be studio one 3. will bring those features.
