Guys great improvements in 2.6 but you really messed the metronome ... while in previous versions the user was able to use Preroll and Auto Punch at the same time , now in the 2.6 version I can use only the one or another option , but not both as in the previous option ... any clues of immidiate fix on that issue ??

Thanks a lot !

I don't know if there is another thread on this or not but I'd like to echo that this is weird.

I'd like either a) for someone to explain WHY this option is somehow better or b) fix it. It was fine before and now it's weird.

It is a bit strange as those too are typically used together.
I am guessing it is a bug that came about when pre-count was introduced

Similarly if you use Click in Pre-count only the metronome will not play in playback mode even though the metronome "on" indicator is on.

The renders click track is also inserted without a tempo stamp on it. Sure it can be fixed easy enough manually but still you think a tick track would have at least the initial tempo so that it would stretch properly if there are changes in tempo as well as export to other DAWS better.

I think they need a bit more polishing on the new Metronome functionality.

So if I'm guessing correct , you guys have the same problems as me , correct ??

I'm not goint to render the clicks.... the new metronome has great feauters, but why I can't use the Preroll and Auto Punch at the same time, which is a great tool in daily bases for me in my studio sessions ???

Can be a quick fix please Presonus ???

I've been having problems with the metronome too. I program in real time and after the latest update, my timing has been off no matter what quantize settings I'm using. I've tried everything I know. Can someone suggest something?

After a reading the Studio One book for producers and engineers as well as the manual I found nothing. Ironically just as I was going to shut it down, I stumbled across the fix. RECORD OFFSET. Do I feel like a jack #^s. Lol.............Every time I programmed drums the would fall slightly ahead of where they should and I would have to edit the entire pattern. Now after adjusting the record offset, I'm good. I hope this helps the other guy on this forum who was have the same issue........Peace be with you

Wait...The problem here is: the AUTO PUNCH and PRE ROLL functions are not able to be used simultaneously in Presonus Studio 2.6.1 ... How does one fix THIS problem? What is record offset?
