Is S1 Getting an Anniversary Update?

Johnathan, please just give us a yes or no (more info would be welcome, however)

Our next release is not a '2.0', mostly addresses fixes, but does include some much asked for functionality (little things). We're in the final stages of testing that release, so you'll have it soon.

A 2.0 is in the works now, but I can't say much about it at all...sorry! Just know that some very cool stuff is coming, some of which is the direct result of our interaction with you guys on these forums. We will continue to listen and respond in the same way we have during our first year, and are very thankful for the enthusiasm and thoughtful feedback you bring.

awesome, great to know! i wasnt expecting a 2.0 release, more like a 1.7, but all is good.. cant wait to see what you guys have been working on!

I can't wait for the next update. My lappie will become the next to enjoy S1Pro. She will be my songwriting/gig machine in the bedroom with the Novation SL 61 I'm getting reeeeeaaaal soon. Details will follow.......

Cool just one question can we expect solid info about v2.0 before years ends? I think I will probably change/get a new DAW by then, S1 already is one of the contenders. But some of the pattern and VST (artist) ready DAWs is making heavy competition...

For mixing and mastering duty is already very, very good (just some minor annoyances).

I honestly am not sure when we will start to talk about it, as it all depends on our development window, which expands and contracts a lot.

Our list is long and ambition is high, we think everyone will be very pleased.

I am using Reaper but I am not very happy with the workflow, at least for midi. So i am looking for both R4 and other DAWs.
