forgive me If I am posting in the wrong forum but there's no where else I saw fit to post this.

I have a green river pre and an axe fx and wanted to know the best way to hook them up to my firepod.
I've read that using a trs cable on inputs 1-2 will bypass the pre's but then problem occurs as I need to bypass 3 pre's as I'm running stereo out from the axe fx.

EDIT: It has just occurred to me that the axe fx has a s/pdif so I might connect it that way now. I am still concerned for the external pre though as how I would go about hooking that up.

And yes, I would just use SPDIF to connect the Axe FX and Line in 1 and/or 2 with the preamp.

you're referring to the line 1 or 2 on the back right?
