I think we will see new, more sophisticated Reason 6 Refils in the future. Now that it is 64-bit DAW.

Reason is a very unique concept, that keeps evolving.

Well, the fact that it's 64-bit will only allow it to use more memory... Not sure about the refills running into the memory issue... It's more about the possibilities of the instruments when it comes to sophisticated refills.

kelsos wrote:ok, I'll tell you one of the unbelievable new features of v2.0:

AirControl

Studio One will recognize hand and finger movements performed in front of a webcam. Edit tracks, move faders, turn knobs and a lot more by user-definable movements ('gestures") in the air. This will all happen in realtime without any noticeable delays. Special obscene gestures (S.O.G.) will immediately re-arrange your project automatically to sound like Justin Bieber.

Ok, just kidding, but it would be VERY cool

Pls. pardon my crappy English...

This gets my vote for the best first post on a forum.

I think the mindblowing new feature in Studio One V2 will be online collaboration. Log in, invite other Studio One users in, and record and jam online in real time.

I would like a 32 bit vst bridge, track layers and track folders myself. But neither of these is particularly mind blowing.

Haha... here is a video of the last PreSonus Software staff meeting. "Teamwork" was stressed. I think the one guy who wasn't a team player no longer works there...

Tough place to work.

I think bigboifrank might be on to something with built in online collaboration in V2.

GOD ALMIGHTY. I am so sick of looking at the home page / message boards by the hour for some kind of clue as to what's coming!

One thing is fairly certain....it will not be out in Oct. Presonus has to send out review copies and start a marketing campaign. This will take at least 1 month; people were talking about a release date 2 weeks into Oct. I just don't see that happening. It is actually screwing up me up a little, as I don't know whether to go ahead and uprade Sonar X1 with the new FX chaining capabilities or not.

do you really believe V2 exists or anything newer than an internal v1.7 ? you better upgrade your Sonar X!
