There don't seem to many responses to this update yet so here is my 2 cents.

Thanks for the update. All seems to be working ok now.

Downloaded, and Installed, but haven't tried it yet,.

install the uc update 1.7.1 last saturday night to prepare it for sunday, use it the whole day sunday for 5 celebration in our church, works great without problem... thank you so much guys great work, really appreciate your great job.... God Bless all the people who work on it....

I ran into problems using the Public Beta version. After installing the beta version on my Mac BookPro, I opened UC, I then opened the PreSonus app (PreSonus SL-Remote 1.4) on my iPad. When I opened the app, the app saw my console, I clicked on the console name from within the app, and it just kept looking for the console and was not able to connect. I opened VSL on my Mac and under the Setup tab in the Remote Devices area it listed my iPad. So it seemed that both devices could see each other but could not connect.

This happened before a show so I uninstalled the Public Beta version and reinstalled version 1.7 and I was able to connect all devices. Any thoughts?

I was using my 24.4.2 with a MAC running OSX 10.8.2, an Airport Extreme, and a Apple iPad. I tried both of my iPads, a first generation and a 2nd generation. Both worked fine with 1.7 but not with 1.7.1

Weird, any luck with a round of reinstalls on all?

I have the exact same setup as you. The iPad app (VSL Remote) and iPhone app (QMix) both work fine. Just tried them again to make sure. Give it another try.

I brought my mixer into the house tonight and I uninstalled UC 1.7 and then reinstalled 1.7.1 (the public beta version) after doing a factory reset on the console. I can now connect with both iPads running the StudioLive Remote app with no problem. I shut down the mixer, computer and both iPads and powered all on again to try to reconnect, and again I did not run into any problems. I must have missed something at the gig i mentioned in my post above, as I can say that I was a bit rushed during sound check.

For those of you wondering if it's safe to install the Public Beta version, you may also be wondering if this version has fixed the Sub Out Delays being set to various settings when using the graphic EQ's, here is what I found.

I went through all of the EQ's and brought each EQ fader up to plus 15.8 and then down to -16.0 without any affect on the Sub Out Delays. I also went through all of the functions that Smaart has to offer, and I found that all of the functions work both when operating from within VSL on my Mac, and also while operating Smaart from within the StudioLive Remote app on both an iPad 1 and iPad 2, although there are some odd things happening in this beta release as found in this thread: http://forumsarchive.presonus.com/posts/list/0/32510.page#218517

I had read previously that while using 1.7 some folks had problems loading Scenes from within the StudioLive Remote app. I was able to load stored scenes with no problems.

Is there an idea out there, when the BETA 1.7.1 will become an OFFICIAL 1.7.1?

Not for sure. And we won't be until Presonus says so.

Hi,
I have some problems to recall a scene from the UC.
The GEQ and the time delay in the subs are not loaded. So if I load a new scene the GEQ (assigned to the Subs and the Main) and the delay time in the Sub are not loaded.
What am I doing wrong??

Can anybody give me a hint? We need to reload the delay times and the GEQs...

I installed UC 1.7.1 last week. It works great.

I wasn't happy with UC 1.6 but this release seems the real deal. The new features are incredible.

installed 1.7.1 beta last week. No problems whatsoever!

when first download of 1.7 came my smaart tools worked great but a problem with the sub mixes arose ( which we all knew about ) I downloaded beta version to solve the sub mix problem,,cured.. didn't try the smaart tools til last evening ROOM ANALYZER generated pink noise just fine BUT did not show the eq under the generator Blank green area where the auto eq should be. anyone have the same issue? Have the issues with sub delaying been solved? should I reinstall 1.7?
I was totally bummed as this was my first attempt at pink noising a room. was looking forward to seeing it work.
Any solutions pl?
